Delivery and Return Policy

Delivery Schedule

Please note that we have over 8000 products on our website and could not possibly hold all of these in stock. Please get in touch first if you need to know whether or not an item is in stock if this is something that is needed urgently.

Free Delivery:

All orders over £600 will have free UK mainland delivery automatically applied. For delivery outside UK mainland (including Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland) please contact us for a delivery quote.

For delivery quotes outside of the UK mainland (including Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland), please email your full delivery address and also the reference numbers of the items you're interested in. 

Delivery Time for Items That ARE In Stock:

Delivery time frame will be approximately 7-14 working days for items that are in stock. Once the item is ready to be dispatched we will contact you to arrange a convenient day for delivery, as a signature is always required.

Delivery Time for Items That ARE NOT In Stock:

Delivery time frame will be approximately 4 - 16 weeks for items that are not in stock. Once the item is ready to be dispatched we will contact you to arrange a convenient day for delivery, as a signature is always required.

If your item is not available within 21 days, we will contact you with an update of when the item is expected to come back into stock. Please note that arrival dates for out of stock items are subject to change.

 

Delivery 

We offer two types of delivery:-


- The first delivery method available is via our own delivery team. Experienced with handling the items we stock, this service offers a much more personal touch. Your postcode location will be routed into a multi-drop run, a delivery date agreed with yourself, and the driver will call 1 hour prior to arrival. The timescale for this service is from one week up to four weeks depending on location and between the hours of 7am and 7pm. If you require the items to be brought into your home we can also provide this service, but please note all items will only be delivered to the ground floor of your property (if you live in an apartment etc. your floor is classified as ground floor regardless if it is many floors up).

- The second being via a third party courier, depending on the size and weight of the items purchased, and whether they are fragile and require special handling.

Saturday delivery is possible, however prices will vary depending on your location. Please contact us for a Saturday delivery quote.

All small items will be sent via a third party courier service at our discretion.

It is a customer’s responsibility to ensure that the dimensions are checked prior to order to ensure that there is no access issues.

 

Within the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations all deliveries should be inspected at your earliest opportunity and any returns of unsuitable items to be reported to us within 7 days of receipt to ensure we are able to deal with your enquiry. 

To assist us with processing your return we would request if possible that you provide photos of the damage. Items which are not faulty can only be returned if notified within the 48 hours as per the Distance Selling Regulations.

 

When returning an unwanted item, you will be responsible for costs involved to return.

Use a postage service that is trackable and insured to protect yourself in case of loss or damage, with a courier service that will let us inspect the goods before accepting them into our warehouse.

 

When receiving any damaged items you must report it to ourselves within 48 hours of receipt and we will arrange a collection for the damaged items. Dusx will refund postage on faulty items. The customer is responsible for the postage on non-faulty or unwanted items.

Please note that a lot of our items are 'antique reproductions' and with that may come certain imperfections or fading, and are deliberate effects of the style. All items are handmade and hand-finished, which sometimes results in slight variations between pieces. It is natural to expect and appreciate these discrepancies as a feature of our products. Please also be wary that colours may vary slightly to the pictures shown on our website.

  • Artificial Distressing

Artificial Distressing is created by hand to enhance the character of the range.

  • Variations In Texture

Most of our ranges are hand carved using many different materials, so some variation may be apparent.

  • Hairline Cracks  

Hairline cracks may occasionally appear on the joins of sections of timber on certain items. This is caused by natural movement and is unavoidable.

  • Antique Effect Handles 

Antique fittings are given an aged appearance to enhance the character of the collection.
